Continuing our support of Lumiere

Following the success of Durham Lumiere 2023, where we powered Mick Stephenson’s Diamond Garden installation, we’re proud to return for the 2025 festival. This year, Tracer Power is providing freestanding power for one of Lumiere’s most captivating artworks: Vault of Echoes by artist Aaqib. Combining mirrored geometry with the heritage architecture of Durham, the installation creates a mesmerising display of light and reflection. Our 150Ah Li-Ion Carry Case Kit delivers safe, reliable power that allows the piece to shine continuously throughout the event, all without the need for traditional cabling or generators.

Vault of Echoes: A Unique Artwork in a Historic City

Vault of Echoes is an immersive mirrored structure located along the Riverwalk in Durham. Inspired by the city’s architectural heritage and the bold lines of brutalist design, the installation blends intricate geometry with reflective surfaces, creating a visual experience that shifts with every angle and movement.

Visitors can admire the surrounding environment reflected across multiple planes while the mirrored panels capture both the historic cityscape and the festival’s light.
