Ordering and Delivery

Ordering is simple! Find your products from the top menu, or via the search box. If you know the product code, just enter it into the search box and click find. Add to basket and follow the check-out instructions.

We accept all major credit cards and bank transfers. Your payment details are kept secure. PayPal is used as our payment terminal for added security.

Please note: You do not require a PayPal account to make a payment. Just click the “Debit or Credit Card Button” on the Basket and enter your details as usual.

Sometimes this option may not appear, in that instance, click the “PayPal” button to open the PayPal window and select the “Pay by Debit or Credit Card” option, (underneath the “login” button) and enter your card details.

Alternatively, you can “Checkout securely” and complete your Billing and Delivery details and then proceed to PayPal to complete your purchase.

Pricing and VAT.

For your convenience, all prices are displayed in your local currency.

Our headline prices exclude UK VAT at 20%. The VAT inclusive price is also displayed for your information. VAT is added if you are ordering from within the UK.

VAT is not payable for deliveries outside the EU or for European Businesses with a valid VAT number. Please enter your company name, VAT number and EORI number at the check-out stage. Please be aware for exports outside the EU you may need to pay import duties and or brokerage fees.

Trade / Volume discounts

Discounts may be available for volume purchases and trade accounts may be considered. Please contact us as at sales@tracerpower.com with a detailed request and we can arrange specific quotes as required.

Delivery

We generally ship by a recorded courier method ensuring a fast and secure delivery worldwide. For especially large consignments or for shipments to certain regions we may need to use a specialist shipping service. We are fully IATA certified to ship lithium batteries by air where permitted. All our lithium products are UN 38.3 certified for transportation.

Returns Policy

Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive. You are entitled to cancel your order and return the goods within 14 days for a refund (Please note we cannot refund any postage fees unless the goods have a fault). Do this by contacting us by email or telephone and quoting the order number supplied to you. Your refund will be paid within 30 days.

You are responsible for the cost and risk of loss or damage when returning the goods, so you should take out enough postal insurance to cover their value.

This cancellation policy does not affect your rights when we are at fault – for example, if goods are faulty or misdescribed. Any goods returned should be in saleable condition. These terms apply to your order. We may change our terms and conditions at any time, so please do not assume that the same terms will apply in the future.

None of these terms affect your legal rights and these are not diminished in any way. If any term is held to be invalid under any applicable statute or rule of law, that term is automatically omitted from the terms to minimum extent necessary to comply with the law and without affecting the validity or enforceability of the remainder.

To make a return:

1. Please email us at sales@tracerpower.com detailing your reason for return.
2. By return, we will provide you with a returns number together with full postal instructions.
3. Once your return has been received and inspected, we will contact you by email to inform you that a refund is on its way.
4. You can expect a refund against the original purchasing card within seven days.

Warranty

Our batteries are covered by a 12 month limited warranty. The warranty covers premature failure due to defects in materials and/or workmanship. Any breakage caused by accidental damage or as a result of abuse or misuse is not covered. The warranty is limited to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.

The warranty is void if the serial number is removed from the product or if the battery has been modified in any way. Please charge your battery directly after each use. Leaving your battery in discharged state will seriously and permanently damage its performance. Please note we cannot uphold warranty claims in these circumstances. Your battery will degrade over time and with use, such degradation is not covered by warranty.

Industrial Battery Take Back Scheme

As a producer of industrial batteries under the Waste Batteries and Accumulators Regulations 2009, we at Tracer Power produce Lithium-Polymer(Li-po), Lithium Iron Phosphate(LiFePo4) and Lithium-Ion(Li-Ion) batteries. As a responsible supplier of these goods, we provide a recycling service to reduce our impact on the environment.

Waste industrial batteries can be dropped off at our Tracer Power address with prior arrangement, where they will be recycled. Due to Tracer batteries being classified as dangerous goods, returns cannot be made to us using a courier without a dangerous goods license. In this event we recommend using a local hazardous waste disposal site. You can find your nearest drop off point using the Recyclenow website and searching for “Domestic Batteries” or “Car Batteries” to find your nearest drop off point.

We would also recommend the services of Portable Battery Recycling or Ecobat as an alternative method of correct disposal if you cannot get your batteries to us.
